2025 DIGITISATION TARGET

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia (NSFA) has issued a deadline of 2025 to digitise audiovisual formats: beyond which it is projected that items will be deteriorated beyond digitisation.

We are working feverishly to meet this target!

We are grateful to the individuals who have donated to our film digitisation appeal; and to the SA History Trust Museums and Collections, and the national Community Heritage Grant Scheme for funds towards this goal.

DEPOSITING AV ITEMS

We welcome the deposit of additional items into the collection that will further our understanding and knowledge of the people, places, ministries, and doctrines of the Lutheran Church of Australia and New Zealand.

We unfortunately can only take further items with an accompanying financial donation to cover the digitisation cost.

Lutheran Archives is located on Kaurna Country. We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of this Country and the Traditional Owners of the lands that have been documented or referenced in our collection throughout Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea. We acknowledge their continuing connection to and care of Country, Culture and Community. We pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people should be aware that names, records and images of deceased persons occur within our collection.
