The Lutheran Archives Collection

The Lutheran Archives collection spans close to 2500 linear metres of records, including both published and unpublished material. These records have been created or used by congregations, departments and districts in undertaking the ministries of the church, and by individuals in daily religious life.

Formats held in the collection include manuscripts, audio visual, photographic images, artefacts, periodicals and published works.

Materials date from before the time of Lutheran migration in 1838 until the present day, documenting LCANZ ministries and interactions across the globe.

Most of the collection is available for research. Please click on the icons below to explore the different parts of Lutheran Archives’ collections.
